Do you ever wonder what people really want? Whether in business or in their personal life.
I often wonder what really drives people. In my experience I have found that very few people anymore really have true set goals that they are working towards.
People seem to be bumping along the road just looking for the next opportunity to find them. I am finding that this same attitude is being shifted towards business. At what point does the sense of responsibility for ones success come into play?
I think that for some it's the fear of being found out that if they truly put themselves out there to go after something or take a stand that their inabilities will be found out. As if failure was such a horrible thing.
I have been in many situations where I could have just thrown up my hands and conceded failure, but I never look at things that way. How can you fail at something if you keep trying? At some point you are going to find the right combination, and if you really pay attention you will learn from your previous mistakes and be that much stronger for it.
I find that in times of perceived defeat many people just sit back and swear that they are never going to venture down that path again... As if what they were trying to achieve was at fault as opposed to the way they were going about it.
If you truly want something you have to try every way possible and chances are if you keep trying and making mistakes you'll find the right way to do it.
