As "CAC's" first
site they needed a method to tell their story, as well as provide
a means to collect donations, and notify potential volunteers of upcoming
events, and opportunities. Our challenge was to create a site that
would be easily maintained by their small staff & volunteers,
user friendly, and effective.
When CAC retained 23° the organization
of the Center was nonexistent. CAC in collaboration with 23° uncovered
opportunities to organize CAC's efforts and make them more effective.

The CAC web site has
helped to legitimized the fundraising process, increased the value
of the Center through readily available information, and has provided
CAC with the ability to reach a greater, more targeted audience.
The Web site also provides CAC with a database of users who volunteer
personal information for future fund raising campaigns.

"CSS" gives
both web site developers and users more control over how pages are
displayed. Designers and users can create style sheets that define
how different elements, like headers and fonts appear, basically
separating visual design from structure. CSS is used throughout
the site to keep a consistent look and feel.
