Why the Name 23 Degrees?

In the company's Overall Strategy the names intent is to not limit its service options or people’s perceptions. It provides longevity and versatility by not setting limitations on the  of the company's capabilities. Separately the number 23 itself lends to the company's goal to be visually present in seemingly random occurrences while the word Degrees refers not to temperature but coordinates such as the company's core value statement "What's Your direction".

What's Been the Biggest Obstacle or Opportunity?

The obstacle, Raquel says, has been her ability to create, code, strategize, and execute all at once. In the beginning having all of these abilities in one person saved the company tons in salaries but in turn this forced the company to grow more slowly than Raquel would have liked. We think that the opportunity to this ultimately was the ability to have measured growth that caused us to have to really look at our methods, who we worked with, and what direction we would ultimately grow in. The other opportunity is that Raquel is so incredibly in tune with our clients, she knows their businesses inside and out as well as the nuts and bolts of their projects. It's a love hate relationship as Raquel would say.

What Type of Turnover has 23 Degrees Experienced?

23 Degrees has been very fortunate and has yet to experience turnover; we are still running on our original crew. We are very proud to be now adding to this crew to include project management, sales, and social responsibility. We hope to continue with our track record and are all very excited to take the company to the next level.

What Are The Company's Plans For Growth?

23 Degrees has several verticals in the pipeline the first being the roll-out of its in-house services lifecycle improvement management system or more appropriately “SLIM”. SLIM encompasses every aspect of the business client relationship from pre-contract through the duration and close of the client’s patronage. SLIM is designed to engage clients while increasing their interaction level through the automation of processes, project management, billing, scheduling, and development. SLIM will be available for BETA testing in early 2010 and will be targeted at businesses whose assets and resources are limited.|

Next in the pipeline is roll-out of the 23 Degrees social responsibility platform. This platform will allow 23 Degrees to reach local businesses on a deeper more personal level. The platform will be geared towards organizing events for local charities. “We feel that from a networking standpoint this will bring 23 Degrees closer to potential customers from a passive standpoint” says CEO Raquel Elle Bell. “We are vamping up our sales side, but we have never been sales people, never want to be, and never will be. Our sales team will be there to help potential clients who get to know our work through our events into the sales pipeline. No one likes to be sold, and we feel this is the best way to give back while getting 23 Degrees seen and heard”
23 Degrees will be organizing several events per year. These events will revolve around Arizona sports and activities such as Golf and Poker.

To add to our reach 23 Degrees will be publishing the 1-2-3 Business Kit “3 Easy Steps to Success” Written and illustrated by CEO Raquel Elle Bell. It’s a simple but poignant guide that takes readers through the business process in three easy steps. The book will then be followed up with a more complete guide that will show in detail steps and examples of strategies that 23 Degrees has used throughout the years to help ourselves as well as our customers become more successful
